I received an email from my sister with your website address.  I decided to write since I am trying to  piece together not only my family but also any history having to do with anything Barrientos.

Originally we're from El Salvador but in 1987 we moved to Canada.  Most of my dad's side of the family lives there still (in ES).  My grandparents were not married so our last name is technically our Grandmother's last name.  My Grandfather died when my dad was about 15 or 16 so we never new him and we've heard little from him from my dad.  This isn't because he doesn't want to share, but just b/c there really isn't much to tell.  Unfortunately my Grandmother died a few years back so I couldn't get anything out of her about her
past or anything.  I'm relying on all our living relatives cause I figure, someone has to know something about our past.  Also, maybe all the information I can gather,  once put together will be substancial.

I will ask my parents if they are willing to send in any information for your book b/c as far as I've gotten, it's really not much but 3 or 4 generations.  I would love to know how I can get a copy of the book "The World Book of Barrientos" and eventually a copy of your book. I really hope you can achieve this goal because it would be really interesting to see how we are all related.

For now here is a little bit about me:
